Watch Sports Games Lead to Heart Problems

When watching a sporting event like the Champions League, Euro Cup or the Olympic games sometimes carried away the audience, this condition can be bad for health.

Watching the games with high emotions can trigger heart problems. There is much scientific evidence showing that emotional watching the game can cause heart problems.

"Given the risk of heart attack or coronary heart disease increased by 25 percent on the day of the match until two days later," says Dr. Keith, as quoted by The Sun, Saturday (05/19/2012).

Dr. Keith said that watching the games a 2-fold greater cause problems, even when his favorite team win though. This is possible because when watching sports people smoke, drink supplemented with increasing levels of stress hormones that impaired blood circulation.

When someone feels the tension, the body releases the hormone that makes blood become more sticky. Then someone will be more eager to make the pulse and blood pressure increase.

These conditions combined to make a person's coronary arteries is compromised, especially if there had been little narrowing or blockage in blood vessels that lead to chest pain, sudden shortness of breath with which to make people have a heart attack.

"In people who already have problems with his heart, the heart attack risk 2-fold higher risk for experiencing psychological stress," he said.

To reduce the risk of heart problems start by practicing breathing techniques while watching sporting events, and avoid foods that contain high levels of sodium or salt and alcoholic beverages.
