Doc, I've heard he said that wearing braces (stirrup) can have a negative impact as well. For example, the mouth until the swelling or loss of all teeth. Is this true?

All treatment braces / orthodontics when done by physicians who are competent and good (Orthodontic Specialist) definitely will not happen swollen mouth or tooth loss.
Hence my suggestion, before braces treatment, look for Ortho and discuss with your doctor in order to get perfect results.
